calling in Engels

Voorbeeldzinnen
I’m married, but I don’t have any children yet. My husband is called Marcos Sánchez, and I met him, as you may imagine by his name, in Spain.

At that moment, our first tapas arrived. First something arrived called croquetas.

“The Garden” was then served as main dish, or “le jardin”, as it’s called in French.

My friend José called me one day in July and invited me to go to a party in a village in Valencia that was going to be held in Augusto.

The party was called… the tomatina.

That is how I learned that the village where we were going to go to the party was called ‘Buñol’.

But soon came a moment which changed my life: the Oktoberfest, or the German beer festival, as we call it in Spain.

For example, one day in the north of Spain we ordered a tapa called “callos”…I don’t know how to explain what it is, but it’s a kind of pig’s meat that I didn’t like at all, because it was a bit…viscose.

Kate was always being called names.

Feeling called into question, I took the chance to express my rage, but without exaggerating – also not to embarrass Marco, who was courting me, and I had understood that from the first moment.
